STUNNING 5-STRING PROFESSIONAL CARNATIC MANDOLIN SRINIVAS
Item No:- MI 0126
Description:- Srinivas was a virtuoso Indian mandolin maestro and composer belonging to the classical Carnatic musical tradition of Southern India. Srinivas is regarded as the Mozart of classical Indian music. A mandolin is a musical instrument in the lute family and is usually plucked with a plectrum or "pick". It commonly has four courses of doubled metal strings tuned in unison (8 strings), although five (10 strings) and six (12 strings) course versions also exist. It usually has four pairs of strings that run over a fretted neck. However, the Indian version of Mandolin, which is not the conventional mandolin, uses just 5 strings. The strings are played with the fingers of the left hand and plucked with a plectrum held in the right hand.
