This is made using from thin 0.8 mm solid brass & polished with copper finish. These use the highest quality 15-power precision optics & are made with dent-resistant heavy 1.2 mm thick brass. The brass has a vapor deposition clear coating so the brass will not tarnish and never needs polishing. For many years, pirates have considered 15-power to be the ideal balance between magnification and field of view. Focusing is accomplished by rotating a large adjusting ring near the eyepiece.
